Last night we had such a wonderful time. Ardeth & Heber had a little gathering for us. We had some relatives come and some old (in both senses of the word) missionary companions come. It was so nice to see them all!!
Left to Right: Ardie Kapp (cousin), Marie & Dennis Christensen (cousins),
me and Heber Kapp (cousin)
I'm with Donna and Lincoln Burnham (cousins) in this picture. They have 3 children.
Lincoln is serving as a bishop right now.
More cousins here: Jen (Burnham) & Alex Duschku with me in the middle.
They have a wonderful family of 8 children. She's like her mom. Her mom had 11 children.
This is a picture of me with my niece Kari Baker on the left and her friend Jamie Washington on the right. So glad you came Kari.
We missed her sister Sara who was trying to come but couldn't make it. So sad!!
This is Christine & Lynn Davies. He was a companion to Neil. Note his height compared to Neil's!
This is obviously a candid shot.
Left to Right: Gordon Brown, Kara & Jeff Edwards, Vivian Brown, Breck England, Dennis & Marie Christensen
These are the France missionaries. All of them were Neil's companions with the exception of the SISTER. (She is now Gordon's companion.)
Standing: Gordon Brown (Neil's companion in the Mission Home in SLC), Jeff Edwards (companion in Asniere), Breck England (Neil's first companion in France, Paris)
Sitting: Vivian (Sinclair) Brown, Neil, Lee Pyper (Neil's companion in Pau)
They sure had a great time reminiscing.
These are the missionaries and their wives (eternal companions)
Standing: Gordon Brown, Kara & Jeff Edwards, Neil, Valerie & Breck England, Lee Pyper
Sitting: Vivian Brown, Glenda, Perla Pyper
We were sure grateful to see everyone and rub shoulders with each other for the evening.
Thank you Ardie and Heber. We love you both!!

Wow, that's quite the mission reunion!! That's really fun for you guys, especially Dad! Glad you guys had a fun evening!! The countdown is really on now!!!
Seems like a Fun Party!!! How fun to see everyone again.
That was very nice of Ardie and Heber to host that party for you. It was also nice to talk to you last night. Now you're in the MTC and it now probably feels quite official that you're actually missionaries. Congratulations!
Looks like a fun time!
Hey Glenda! Thanks for posting those pictures. I know those Burnham's from growing up in Kelowna! They were in my stake :0) It's been years since I've seen them! :0)
So glad you are doing a blog. Can't wait to hear about MTC life!
Well, Drapers, it was a great pleasure to see you off. I just got back from Tampa last night. It was 80 degrees, humid, palm-tree lovely. Our best to you!
